MAssLab opening
On March 30, 2023, the Material Assessment Lab (MAssLab) was opened at ANTS.
After a good two years of conceptualization and construction, it is now possible there to experience circular economy with the help of exhibition samples and background information on life cycle stages. The aim was to create an interactive learning and encounter space where students and researchers can deal with the topic "Circular Economy" in a study-, project- and subject-oriented - but above all practice-oriented - manner.
After greetings by the Rector of the RWTH, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Ulrich Rüdiger, and the Vice Dean of Faculty 5, Prof. Dr. Axel Preuße, Professor Kathrin Greiff and Hannah Köhler gave an introduction on the background, the concept, and the functioning of the MAssLab. Afterwards, the guests had the opportunity to talk about further plans for the MAssLab, the exhibition samples and the circular economy while enjoying snacks and drinks.
