Experimental activities
The Department of Anthropogenic Material Cycles offers various solutions to its customers from waste management and others industrial branches.
All existing capabilities and capacities of the department also benefit students in teaching and scientists in research activities.
On one hand, the range of methods and facilities includes material characterisation in our own raw materials laboratory, processing experiments of highly complex materials and waste streams in our own technical laboratory and analyses in our sensor laboratory. The technical means of these facilities offer many possibilities for conducting trials at lab and technical scales.
On the other hand, trials can be carried out in the field at processing plants according to customer specifications. We can either conduct material characterisations of waste streams or create evaluations for entire processing chains. Furthermore, we handle requests for process optimization. Analytical methods with high technical standards form the basis of evaluating processing measures.
